Hand crafted in the USA, we use sophisticated prints to create irresistible baby gear that complement and add to your babies ensemble. A blend of natural cotton and organic bamboo fabrics create an attractive and yet absorbent combination that feels soft and luxurious against a baby’s skin. Our patent-pending detachable liner technology protects clothing against wetness even under the most trying circumstances. Cloth area provides maximum absorbency and is gentle on babies skin. Our products have been certified by the USA Federal Product Safety Board.
Wow Baby sent me one of their Bibs N Burps sets (the Sunrise) to review. My sweet 2 month old niece is a spitter, so we knew it would come in handy and we were all immediately in love as soon as we used it for the first time.
The idea of having a detachable liner for both the bib and the burp cloth is ingenious! When everything needs to be cleaned up, simply detach the lining and rinse it off in soapy water and wash the bib as you normally would. When done, pair the two together again and away you go! So great!
I also have to say right off that we really appreciated that the fabric used in these products truly are very soft and the detachable liner is also surprisingly flexible and soft…NOT hot, crinkly and sticky like most of them are!!!
It’s also very obvious that Wow Baby takes customer care and satisfaction VERY seriously!
We take great pride in our products and as such offer a money back guarantee on all purchases. In addition, because we believe moms & dads our the best product reviewers, we greatly value their opinion and offer them 10% discount and free shipping all year if they sign up to be a Preferred Customer.
Their best seller is the Bibs N Burps collection which retails for $29 (unless you’re a preferred customer of course). Right now they are offering their 2008 cotton bibs and burp cloths at 20% off (no code needed, in shop promotion – Limited availability). But of course, Preferred Customers get 10% off and free shipping all year.

There are those shops that you may happen upon once in a blue moon. The ones that serve a bigger purpose and offer truly unique and functional products at the same time. I have recently been introduced to just one such shop…Nanny Deprived.
When owner Amanda Cummings contacted me and asked if I would review her Mom T-Shirts, and showed me a few photos to choose from, I was definitely interested (and very excited). When the T-Shirt arrived, I was thrilled to find that it was just as fun as I had imagined and it fits great! I wear it all the time! I am Nanny Deprived.
When I asked Amanda about the birth of Nanny Deprived, this is what she said…
We wanted our site to be more than just a store but more of a shrine to moms filled with fun quotes, poetry, mom facts, story contests, our blog and shopping. We try to find and sell the most fun and functional products for moms!
Their entire line of Mom T-Shirts is definitely a fun place to start, but they offer so many products that moms will love that you must keep looking while you’re there. Their best selling product is Mom Spit, but they also carry amazing products like slings, diaper bags, jewelry, potty training needs, bath and body, great blankets, what seems like everything for baby and MUCH more!
I could seriously go on and on, but instead, I’ll send you over to the shop to get 15% off any order over $20 by using the code FROGGY. Just be sure to do it soon since the offer expires on June 30th!
You may also want to decide what one of your favorite products is while you’re there (let me tell you, that will definitely be a challenge since you are definitely going to love a lot of their products) so that you can come back here and leave a comment to be entered to win your choice of any one Nanny Deprived Mom T-Shirt (non-bling)!
Once you’ve left a comment telling me your favorite, be sure to take advantage of any of these great EXTRA entry opportunities – remember to leave a new comment for each one:

It’s hard to believe that spring will soon be giving way to summer. Not so hard to believe is there’s still plenty of spring cleaning left to do in my home. That’s why I was pleased to try out the new Windex Outdoor All in One window cleaning tool.
Contained in one small box, this product and a garden hose are all you need to get rid of dirt and grime, leaving your windows beautifully clean and streak-free. The easy to assemble cleaning tool allows you to reach as high as 11 feet, so I was able to wash even my large sliding glass doors without the use of a step ladder.
Window washing can be time consuming, but it doesn’t get any quicker or easier than this. Simply spray the windows with a hose, use the cleaning tool and enclosed pad to wipe the windows clean and then rinse off. There’s no need to dry because the sheeting action of the cleaner eliminates streaks and spots.
My windows were now clean but the cleaning pad was still ready for more. It lasts for up to 20 uses, with replacement pads available in many stores.
We are offering 2 readers the opportunity to receive one of these great Windex Outdoor All-In-One starter kits for your home! Just visit their website and check out their video, then come back here and leave a comment telling us why you’d like to win (not “choose me”, “I want to win”, “Great Prize”, etc …those will be deleted as spam).
You can earn extra entries (simply leave a new comment for each extra you choose) by…
- Blog It – write a blog post on your blog linking to this post, just leave us a link to your post in the comments.
- Tweet It – send out a tweet with a link to this post and leave a comment here with your twitter name.

Sinupret for Kids is by far one of my very favorite products! I began using it for the first time last December when one of my littlest ones came down with a cold. Now, I’m using it again as both of my twins have yet another cold.
It is made with all natural ingredients and is totally effective. Not only does it truly help their cough, but I know from experience that it will make their colds a lot shorter. Sinupret supports healthy sinus function, immune function and respiratory function. Something my little guys definitely need a little help with when they come down with a bug.
When you’re shopping for Sinupret for Kids, don’t let the price turn you around! There are plenty of money saving coupons to be had (be sure to look for and grab one before you head to the store) and one bottle will last for several illnesses (or children if you have several sick at once).
Sinupret for Kids syrup promotes healthy drainage in the upper respiratory tract, improves airflow in the nose and supports healthy mucous clearance from the nose and sinuses. In addition to supporting sinus and respiratory functions, it also supports the immune system.
This one is DEFINITELY Mom Recommended!!!
Time 4 Felt

Lets face it we live in a ‘electronic’ world! I am one of those parents that had planned on little to no TV for my kids.
Well, I am also one of those parents that didn’t follow through with that plan…:o) With that being said I still look for toys that will stimulate my boys’ minds without being plugged into the wall. That is why I love the felt book from time4felt.com that I was asked to do a review of. I was sent the ‘The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe Toggle Book.‘
The first thing that I noticed was the quality of the book. It is well made and very sturdy. It is made to hold up to little hands playing with it. The book is constructed with bright and colorful felt. The colors are dyed permanently onto the felt, which makes them colorfast and washable. The durable felt is tear-resistant and time4felt.com offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
This Toggle Book has 4 different activities with it. The front has the story of “The Old Women Who Lived in a Shoe” where your child can attach five different pieces of the story. As I told the story to my youngest son, Andrew was able to match up the pictures with the corresponding part. Inside we had fun matching up letters and numbers. The back of the book has a fun color game, where Andrew was able to find the clothing to match up with the right color words.
I really can’t find enough good things to say about this product. The felt products from time4felt.com would make wonderful gifts for birthdays, holidays or just because. You and your child are going to have countless hours of unplugged, imaginative, play time fun with these products.

Okay, I am going to be honest here; I have an issue with clothes clutter! I will blame my issue on the fact that I don’t have any closets down stairs and only one upstairs that holds hang up clothes. This is one of the draw backs of living in an old house. So when I was asked to review an ‘The Vivaldi Over the Door Hook – Triple’ from The Art of Storage, I didn’t hesitate.
The Art of Storage offers products with innovative storage solutions. Their products are affordable and easy to use. Sleek design and high grade materials combine to make The Art of Storage line the ideal choice for bringing “art” to home storage.
I placed ‘The Vivaldi Over the Door Hook – Triple’ on the back of my bathroom door. I have put mine and my husband’s bathrobes on it. I love the stylish design of the hook. The high grade powder coated silver finish blends well with any décor. Best of all the design is not only for style it is for function as well. The curved shape prevents “hook bulge”, so now I don’t have to worry about my clothes getting stretched out of shape. The hook fits great over my door that is no thicker than 1.5 inches. It has been a great solution for some of my clothes clutter and at only $19.99 it is a wonderful storage product.
The Art of Storage offers an assortment of storage organization products. The products aren’t just for fabrics and clothing. They also have great sports equipment and garage storage items. One of the best selling products they offer are the bike racks, which were the initial products when the line was launched.
Another great product that I want to mention is The Ravel Bedroom Valet. It is an elegant accessory that helps keep the bedroom tidy. This rack features a non-slip pants holder, six loops at varying heights and coin tray. Suggested retail price is $99.99 and the item is available at www.amazon.com and www.theartofstorage.com.
The Art of Storage is offering a discount: $10 off any order of $50 or more spent at www.theartofstorage.com.The coupon code is Frog and there isn’t an expiration date.
Neutrogena ® Cosmetics

I recently had an opportunity to try out Neutrogena’s great line of cosmetics. Strangely enough, this isn’t a brand I have ever tried before. I kind of get stuck in the L’Oreal section usually, or looking around for great mineral/natural makeup options.
Well, the moment I realized the box had arrived (thanks to the Bzz Agent program), I opened it and started trying them out. I received these products:
- Neutrogena Mineral Sheers® Concealer Kit SPF 20
- Neutrogena® Nourishing Eye Quad
- Neutrogena® Nourishing Eyeliner
- Neutrogena® Healthy Volume® Mascara
I especially love the Mineral Sheers Concealer Kit and the Healthy Volume Mascara … followed closely by the Eye Quad. I do not wear eyeliner normally, but I do like the fact that it is smooth, does not require sharpening and has a smudger on one end.
Ladies, I sincerely recommend that you try these products. They are not heavy at all and for me, offer the perfect amount of coverage for any blemishes or the shadows under my eyes. You can get them at pretty much any grocery store or superstore you typically shop at and they are totally affordable!
Braun Thermoscan Ear Thermometer

With 6 sons, we meet a variety of illnesses around here. Though for the most part the boys are pretty healthy, especially the older ones, our little trio still fights a lot of illnesses through the year.
Finding a reliable thermometer to help us when treating our boys through an illness has probably been the biggest frustration through the years. Traditional digital auxillary thermometers take quite a while and … well … let’s face it, how many of us are really sure that we’ve placed the thermometer correctly in that little armpit to get an accurate guage of their temp? Then, they move around and get annoyed with how long it takes … you get the idea.
For several years, I’ve longed to get an Braun Thermoscan Ear Thermometer with ExacTemp Technology, and I’m very excited to tell you all that this opportunity has finally come my way!
What a slick little device this is! One of the arguments against an ear thermometer historically has been placement to get the most accurate reading. With this one, you get a signal to tell you that you have it placed correctly. Easy covers keep things sanitary from one user to the next and are easy to replace. It also has a memory feature that remembers the last temp taken when you turn it on again.
I simply cannot say how much I recommend that each family have one of these. Useable for the entire family it is a great investment to say the least. When you are monitoring a sick child this will definitely help keep your mind at ease and help you to give the doctor’s office accurate reports on the child’s temps when you call or go in.
Definitely on the Frog Mom Recommends list

Vicks – Cold and Flu Resources

Last week I shared about MommyDocs and their Cold and Flu Central website. Along with that, I mentioned that one of their big tips is to use a humidifier through the winter. There are actually a surprising number of reasons to use a humidifier and not only children can benefit from their use.
Today, I want to introduce you to my new favorite household appliance … Vicks UV Germ Free Humidifier.
To answer the most likely question my long time readers have about this humidifier, yes, this is a warm mist humidifier that uses boiling water to kill 99.9999% of germs, mold and bacteria from the water.
I know this probably surprises many of you in light of the burn that little Bug received as an infant from a warm mist humidifier (it was a VERY different humidifier though that had a tiny little output hole that concentrated the steam).
Before you get all nervous on me (trust me, I was at first too), although this humidifier does contain a warning to let you know to keep it away from children and that there is a risk of injury from the hot water, I have to tell you right off the bat that we did many very long test runs (mainly overnight) with it going full steam (haha).
After many hours of it running like this, I put my hand over the vent area (which is a pretty large surface by the way) and although it was hot, it did not produce the amount of heat necessary to burn a child before they realized that it was hot and pulled their hand away. I had to make sure that we wouldn’t have a repeat incident of the last time we owned a humidifier. I’m not saying that we don’t use caution (we generally run it at night and in areas where the twins are not likely to go at all or will be constantly supervised.
This humidifier has two huge tanks (2 gallon capacity) to keep it going all day and all night, no more filling it up every couple hours to keep it going. It produces a healthy air since the water is sterilized. You can use inhalants (like vapo steam) to put medicines in the air during colds to help with breathing. You never need to replace the filters (this one is huge for me)!!! It also has adjustable humidity control (much like a temperature guage on a heater) and a 3 year warranty!
Here are 6 reasons to use a warm mist humidifier … some of these may surprise you a little:
- Running a warm mist humidifier can save money in the winter since it makes your home feel warmer allowing you to turn down the thermostat a few degrees.
- It is wonderful at making skin soft and supple.
- It helps protect your home and furniture! In the winter, antique wood furniture (like pianos, tables) and even wood floor tend to dry out too much putting them at risk of buckling and separating.
- Protect your youthful glow … humidifiers help keep your skin looking (and feeling) healthy and young. As we age, estrogen levels decline (even in late 30’s) and leave our skin looking dry and wrinkled. Running a warm air humidifier round the clock can do wonders for your skin.
- Humidity helps trap the flu virus. A study has shown that less humid air actually helps the flu virus thrive and creates ideal conditions for it to be transmitted, but that when their was a higher humidity level in the air, the water droplets tend to grab the virus sending them down to the ground where they are less likely to be inhaled.
- Keeps mucus membranes moist which helps ease chest and sinus congestion and even painful dryness in the nose from sniffles and more.
(these 6 tips provided from the pr company sponsoring this review)
When you have a little one suffering from a yucky cold, I also highly recommend the Vicks Soothing Vapors Plug-In for overnight in a child’s room. These last for 8 hours, so just grab a couple of them from the store when one of your children has a cold
