The thing I like most about Christmas is seeing all of the Christmas light displays that every one has in their yard. It brings us closer together (even if we are trying to see out of their window) and it truly is inspirational. It’s been a tradition of ours since we were in middle school. I plan on doing the same thing with my own family!
I love the look in the childrens eyes. They are so full of magic and happiness. I love the fact that everyone you meet has a warm smile that shows the happiness they have in their hearts. Christmas is the most special time of the year.

My favorite thing about Christmas is decorating my house with the kids. It is a lot of fun and I love to watch them get excited about each decoration that gets unpacked.
Well, watching my great grandkids (3) enjoy the day while I have a fit about how they are all overindulged.

I love having a big open house and inviting everyone. It’s invigorating to have lots of company during the cold winter season.
I collect Santas which stay in a glass cabinet year round, but at Christmas they are sprinkled all over the house.

My favorite thing about Christmas is the wonderment on the children’s faces when they open their presents or they see what Santa Claus left them - it is an expression of such pure joy and awe that can never be explained - only pictures tell most of it.

Seeing my family
I love to sitting in the living room and look at the Chriatmas tree all lit up. I snuggle up on the couch and remember where every ornamnet came from whose it is and how old they were when they picked it out–or was given to them. It mkaes me all warm inside especially since they are growing so fast.

My favorite part about Christmas is collecting for the Toys For Tots. I love all of the decorations on the houses,lite up Christmas trees and the excitement of the children everywhere.
my daughter and I going to open communion and candlelight service on Christmas Eve, then out to eat. We then go home and each pick one gift to open.

I love Christmas Eve we usually spend at Grandma’s then when we get home we put on our Christmas pj’s and open a family gift (usually a Christmas movie or a game) and we watch movie or play game until bedtime. I wake up very early to make huge breakfast for my entire family.

My husband just retired from the Air Force after being in the sevice for 26 years. We have lived so far from family, and spending the holidays with them was few and far between. This Christmas will be special, as it will be the first one in over 15 years that we have seen our families at the holidays. So the best part of Christmas, is for me, being with my close family members, and extended ones as well.
