Balloon Time

I find it incredibly amazing what a difference Balloons can make when decorating for a party.  What is it about them that makes it so incredibly festive????  Recently Balloon Time contacted me to see if I would be interested in trying out their product (and offering one for you as well … but we’ll get to that in a little bit).  I have never had a chance to try one of these great kits out for myself before, so I was very excited.

It comes perfectly packaged in this great box that is super easy to open.  Complete with a variety of both latex and mylar balloons, this kit can be used for one or several occasions.  I can think of a ton of uses for these balloons, but I’ll let you tell me what you think instead.

You can find Balloon Time kits on their website at www.balloontime.com.  You are highly encouraged to sign up for their Balloon Time Party Club. Party Club members have access to advice and ideas from their party planning expert, Penny Warner, as well as receiving the Celebrations e-newsletter.  Their website can help you locate Balloon Time kits in a store near you.

They also have a very fun contest going on nationwide right now, it’s their second “Put a Face on Fun” contest, which is a child’s chance to be featured on millions of Balloon Time Helium Balloon Kits across the country. The winner will also receive a $1,500 toward his or her education. Balloon Time also has a mobile tour that will stop at various places throughout the country to register kids.

Balloon Time has offered you the opportunity to win one of their Combo Kits (includes 20 latex balloons and 5 foil balloons).   All you have to do to enter is visit www.balloontime.com (and maybe even the contest site at www.putafaceonfun.com) and see what they have to offer.   When you’re done come back here and leave a comment telling all of us some great ways that balloons can help brighten a day or make a party more festive.

Be sure to enter this contest by July 28th.

  1. I think balloons are wonderful. It is hard to give someone a balloon, whether they are old, young, or inbetween and not receive a smile in return. One of my favorite balloon memories is the first time I brought home a helium filled balloon after we had gotten our cat, Acorn. She grabbed the ribbon on the end of the balloon and started tearing through the house trying to get away from the big yellow smiley face that was chasing her. It was priceless!

  2. Whenever I get balloons for a party, I take a walk to the park afterwards and give them out to kids. Such a simple way to make someone happy!

  3. I love balloons. They are the most inexpensive and quickest way to transform an ordinary room into one that definitely says “Celebration!” When my kids were younger, they would always get to go to the store and pick out a mylar balloon of their choice for their birthday, then we would purchase additional helium balloons for all of the guests. I think picking that mylar balloon out was the highlight of their day sometimes.

  4. Balloons are just one of the biggest symbols of celebration and a party!! All 3 of my boys love balloons!!! Playing with balloons gets my kids into a wonderful mood, and it is so much fun!! I don’t think a party can be a party without them!! A fun way to celebrate a birthday is to tie a helium balloon to each chair at the table. Also, it’s always fun to decorate the front yard with balloons so that everyone knows where the party is!! Every now and then I get my kids some helium balloons “just because” They love it!

  5. I like the balloon placemarker idea - that way, each child gets a balloon, and it’s already decided where everyone will sit!

  6. I love the ‘flurry of balloons’ idea! And we’ve usually used the ‘balloon marks the spot’ idea, very fun and easy way to mark your party house and set the party tone from the beginning. Thanks!

  7. My baby boy’s first word (after mum) wa baaloooo! All it takes is one baaloooo to make him happy anytime!

  16. Balloons are fun
    *tied to a child’s locker
*tied to someone’s antenna when they come out in the morning for work.
*to liven up the yard so everyone knows a party is going to be there.

Only 3 months old but he would look at that ballon and smile and laugh at it. We were so entertained just by watching our son watch a balloon!
